Spring clean your library account
To celebrate Library Ireland week-8th-15th March, Fingal County Libraries are introducing a library fines amnesty. The fines amnesty will run from March 8th until the Easter break on Thursday 1st April.
So if you have overdue library items, books, prints, CDs, DVDs or cassettes, you may return them to any Fingal branch library without embarrassment or cost.
In fact, we look forward to hearing the best Excuses-fictional or not. To join in the fun, fill out a form available in the library or using the form below documenting your excuse. The best excuse from each library will receive a prize.
Indeed, if your membership has lapsed, drop into the library, borrow and rejoin. All overdue accounts will be cleared once you do this.
To reactivate or open a new library account, simply drop into the library with your ID (including your address and parent/guardian if you are under 18), borrow an item and start anew.
