Join the Library
Membership of Fingal County Libraries is FREE and open to everyone. You don't need to be a member to read in the library or attend library events. If you would like to borrow books, CDs, Dvds or any other items you will need to join your local library.
To join the library you must bring two forms of identification and one of which must contain your name and current address e.g. utility bills, driving licence, bank/credit card statement, children's allowance book or tax correspondence.
* Adults 18+ can join with two forms of identification.
* Adults 15 - 17 years need a guarantor to sign their application form and also provide one form of identification with the name and address of the guarantor.
* Young Adults 12 - 14 years need a parent/guardian present to sign the consent form for a Young Adult card.
* Junior borrowers need identification with the name and address of their parent/guardian.
A Reference card for 18+ year olds can be obtained with photo identification. This is not a lending card but does allow access to the computers.
If you change your address, please tell us as soon as possible.
If you lose your Library Card please notify your local library as soon as possible so that we can stop any unauthorised use of your card.
