Bealtaine Festival celebrates older people and as part of Bealtaine we have organised a storytelling workshop for children and their grandparents with storyteller Richard Marsh.

Titanic Centenary
As part of the Titanic Centenary, Mike Moylan of Irish History Live shall be doing an historical re-enactment of the Titanic in Balbriggan library on Saturday 12th May from 11.00am – 1.00pm. 
Nicola Pierce, author of ‘Spirit of the Titanic’ will be giving a talk for junior library members about the Titanic on Saturday 12th May from 3pm – 5pm. Please call the library on 8704401 to book your place.
Scrabble Club
New scrabble club for adults: Mondays at 11.00am.  All are welcome, scrabble boards supplied
Knitting & Crochet classes
These classes take place every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm, all are welcome.
Chess Club
Chess club meet every second Thursday from 6.00pm -8.00pm. Scheduled dates for May are 10th and 24th May. All are welcome.

Story time: Come and listen to some of your favourite stories.  Story time takes place in the library every Thursday at 3pm for 3-7 years of age.  No booking required.
Chess Club: Garristown Library Children’s Chess Clubs take place every Monday and Wednesday afternoon in the library at 3.15pm.  We are booked up at the moment but if you’re interested you are welcome to put your name on our  waiting list for the September group.

Carnation Theatre Company specialises in providing entertaining, stimulating and interactive plays for senior citizens packed with much loved music and songs and humour. They will be in Rush Library on Thursday 3rd of May at 7pm. Please book a place with the library!
