Parks & Open Spaces
The Council maintains of the order of 1,800 Ha. (4,500 acres) of public open space and parks as an amenity for the public. The following is a list of the major parks and heritage properties managed by or in association with the Parks Division of Fingal County Council
Swords Castle
Skerries Mills Industrial Heritage Centre
The Parks Division manages a wide range of Sports Facilities including golf courses, tennis courts and more than of 160 playing pitches. Application forms for the use of these pitches are available on line or by post. Details of the current Playability of Pitches are updated each week. Public Playgrounds are available at a number of our parks.
