Recycling Facilities

Fingal County Council provides 2 recycling centres, for household use only. These are Coolmine Recycling Centre in Dublin 15 and Estuary Recycling Centre in Swords.

PEASE NOTE: From 2nd November 2011 both Fingal bin tags and Panda Bin tags will be accepted as a means of payment at the recycling centre, along with debit/credit card.

Christmas Opening hours for recycling centres:

Saturday 24th December: OPEN 9am to 1pm

Sunday 25th and Monday 26th December: CLOSED

Tuesday 27th December: CLOSED

Wednesday 28th December: OPEN 9am to 4pm
Thursday 29th December: OPEN 9am to 4pm
Friday 30th December: OPEN 9am to 4pm

Saturday 31st December: OPEN 9am to 1pm

Monday 2nd January: Public Holiday – CLOSED
Tuesday 3rd January: CLOSED

Wednesday 4th January to Saturday 7th January: OPEN 9am to 4pm

We also provide a network of bring banks where households can bring their glass for recycling.

In addition to these facilities, a number of private companies are self compliers under the Waste Management Packaging Regulations and accept certain type of packaging for recycling. Details are available from our Additional Facilities re: packaging waste recycling page.
