We’re looking for your help

Fingal County Council has now prepared a draft of the second Heritage Plan for Fingal, which will deal with all aspects of our natural and cultural heritage. As part of the preparation of the Plan a public consultation process was held in March and April 2011 which involved a series of public meetings and written submissions. The submissions can be downloaded from the above link. 


You are now invited to make observations or a submission on the Draft Fingal Heritage Plan 2011-2017 and the accompanying Habitats Directive Appropriate Assessment Screening Report. They are now available in the following locations:

Fingal County Council Offices:
County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin
Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15

(Mon – Thurs 9.00am – 5.00pm & Fri 9.00am - 4.30pm)

Public libraries in Balbriggan, Baldoyle, Blanchardstown, Garristown, Howth, Malahide, Rush, Skerries, Swords. Please check opening times locally.

Documents can also be viewed and downloaded from the link above.

You are also invited to fill in the questionnaire provided above by downloading it and posting it to the Heritage Office, County Hall, Swords, Fingal, Co. Dublin. Alternatively, submissions or observations may made in writing to the same address or by email to heritage@fingalcoco.ie.

Observations and submissions received before 4.00pm on Friday 17th February 2012 will be taken into consideration by the Council in the final preparation of the Fingal Heritage Plan.
