Development Contribution Scheme 2010 - 2017
Fingal County Council on the 14th December 2009 adopted a Development Contribution Scheme towards public infrastructure and facilities in the area. The operative date is 1st January 2010. All planning permissions granted on or after 1st January 2010 are subject to the conditions of this scheme and this includes permissions granted on appeal by An Bord Pleanála.
The Development Contriubtion Scheme rates effective from 1st January 2010 are as follows:
The level of contribution in respect of Residential development is €143 per square metre
The level of contribution in respect of Industrial/Commercial is €111 per square metre.
These rates shall be updated effective from 1 January each year during the life of the scheme in accordance with the Wholesale Price Index (Building and Contstruction Materials). The above rates will be applied to planning permissions granted on or after 1 January 2010 on the basis of the date of commencement of development.
