Pre-Application Discussions
Can I Consult with the Planning Authority in Advance?
Yes, a person who has an interest in land and who intends to make a planning application may, with the agreement of the Planning Authority, enter into consultations with the Authority. This is referred to as a Pre-Application Consultation and can be requested by phone, in writing or by e-mailing us at(Planning@fingalcoco.ie ). The applicant must submit the following:
- Name and Address
- Contact Details
- Site Address
- Site location map: Scale 1:2500 within the proposed site outline
- Approximate size of site
- Legal interest in site, i.e. Owner/ Purchaser
- Description of the proposed development
Once this information has been submitted, the request will be lodged with the relevant area planner, who will confirm a date for an appointment.
The Planning Authority will keep a record of any such consultations, which will be placed with the planning application file when it is submitted.
Consultations will be by appointment only at the offices of:
Fingal County Council
P.O. Box 174
County Hall
Swords
Fingal
Co. Dublin.
Or if the address is in the Dublin 15 area, the appointment will take place in:
Fingal County Council
Grove Road
Blanchardstown
Dublin 15.
