Water Supply Update - Friday 12th March, 2010

Garristown Area: There was a problem with the pumping station at Kilshane on Wednesday morning 10th March. This affected the water supply to Garristown reservoir and as a result the water supply to consumers in areas of Garristown was disrupted.  The reservoir levels are slowly improving and pressure should gradually increase within the network throughout the day.

A standpipe has been installed in Garristown Village beside the Butcher Shop to provide an emergency supply of water to people who have no supply at present. It will remain in place until the reservoir has returned to normal.

We apologise to consumers for the any inconvenience during this disruption to the water supply.
