Water Bye-Laws

The Fingal County Council Water Bye-Laws 2004 came into effect on the 9th of June 2005. The Bye-Laws place obligations on both domestic and non-domestic water customers to prevent waste, misuse, undue consumption and contamination of water in the Fingal Administrative Area. The Council can impose fines of up to €1250.00 on conviction for breach of these Bye-Laws.

The Bye-Laws should be read in conjunction with the Drinking Water Regulations (2007) and the Water Services Act (2007).
