Water Services Projects
The extent of investment in public infrastructure in Fingal has been very pronounced in recent years. Between 2005 and the end of 2008 over € 227 million has been invested in water and drainage infrastructure in Fingal. The availability of a high quality infrastructure, as a result of this investment, and the existence of a high quality environment make Fingal an attractive place in which to invest, reside, work or to enjoy leisure activities.
However, the rapid population and economic growth in Fingal also puts additional pressures on our environment. The Council has adopted a proactive approach to dealing with these pressures by carrying out strategic planning to ensure that water supply and drainage services keep pace with future demand. The long-term economic, social and environmental well being of Fingal is dependent on maintaining the highest possible standards of environmental quality.
