Council Service Departments
Internal departments provide a range of services to the Fingal County Council to help our staff provide our services.
Sources of income to Fingal County Council include rates, government grants, rents, application fees and waste and water charges.
The Finance Department manages Council spending, income, borrowing leasing and investments.
Our Architects’ Department is a multi-disciplined professional practice including architects, quantity surveyors, technicians, inspectors, clerks of works, Conservation Officer and administrative staff. It provides a wide range of services and advice on all aspects of the built environment to other departments in Fingal County Council.
Our Law Department, headed by the Law Agent is the Council's in-house Solicitors office providing a complete range of legal services to the Council. The Law Agent also advises the County Manager in relation to statutory powers and duties, and on new legislation and case law.
