INDUSTRIAL PARKS

Fingal County Councils Industrial Parks have attracted important industries and led to substantial job creation in Fingal.  The Council continues to develop Industrial Parks at Damastown, Cappogue, Stephenstown, Bay Business Park and the College Business and Technology Park.

Damastown Industrial Park, Mulhuddart
400 acre Damastown Industrial Park is the focus for large industrial developments in Fingal.  It has attracted 38 firms including IBM and remaining lands are being developed and marketed for future enterprise.

Coolmine Industrial Estate, Mulhuddart
Completed in 2007, 55 small firms operate within this estate.

College Business and Technology Park, Blanchardstown
This 230 acre park is developed as a joint venture with IDA Ireland.  Institute of Technology Blanchardstown is integral to the park matching its courses with the training requirements of local industry, securing future development and economic activity for greater Blanchardstown.  The park also provides a crèche.

Stephenstown Industrial Estate, Balbriggan
This 110 acre industrial estate has easy access to Dublin Airport and the Dublin Belfast transport corridor.  Companies based here including Techrete, Tierney Kitchens, Pacon Waste, and EEC Hardware.  A science and technology park (zoning ST1) is planned here and 10 acres of industrial development land (zoning G1) becomes available in late 2009.

Bay Business Park, Balbriggan
Fingal Bay Business Park, home to the Passport Office and Bridgestone, comprises 27 acres at Stephenstown and is a joint venture between Fingal County Council and Howard Holdings Plc.  It includes 22 own door units and 370 jobs have been created here to date. 11 hectares are yet to be developed.
