Fingal County Councils Corporate Procurement Plan reinforces our commitment to effective and efficient allocation of resources. The Plan is reviewed annually.
The Council is committed to maximising value for money. To do this we must improve procurement structures and expertise within the Council on an on-going basis, ensuring that purchasing practices are professional and that staff involved in purchasing on behalf of the Council use best practice.
Our Corporate Procurement Strategy has 4 principles:

- To carry out procurement in line with EU and national law
- To follow best practice under the National Public Procurement Policy Framework
- To promote a sustainable approach to procurement
