Along with CDs, Blanchardstown Library also has a collection of books of musical scores for piano, violin and guitar as well as other musical instruments. Music Lovers can browse Fingal Libraries online catalogue and can request any of our music stock. Requested items can then be delivered to a Fingal Library of your choosing and you will receive notification when it is available for collection. A convenient service to get tunes in to the hands of music lovers to enjoy it!

Donabate Library, on the other hand, has gone for a retro approach to music with the introduction of a record player to the library floor. Borrowers can either browse the library collection of vinyl and play a favourite from the selection or they can choose to bring a vinyl record from home to play in the library. Earphones are supplied so as to not cause disturbance to other library visitors! The record collection in Donabate Library includes popular albums such as Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Band by The Beatles along with Elvis, Hozier, Delorentos, Bruce Springteen, Johnny Cash, Fleetwoood Mac and many many more!

So if you are a fan of music, do browse the library catalogue to see what is available and if your favourite band is not in stock you can always make a suggestion for purchase to staff in your local library.

Happy Listening!
