What a remarkable day we had in Fingal yesterday when our beautiful coastal towns and villages were beamed across the world as millions tuned in to watch the Giro d’Italia on its way from Armagh to Dublin.

Kids off school, 2 weeks of rest over the Easter Holidays….NO Chance! Like me you were probably thinking what can I do to keep the kids active and occupied over the holidays!

The Big Start (Grande Partenza) of the world famous Giro d’Italia cycle race will take place on the island of Ireland over three days from 9th – 11^th May 2014.

54 Schools, 1650 kids participating, over 40 Fingal County Council staff & volunteers and thankfully the sun shone – Phew!!!!!!
