The public library is an important focal point at the heart of your community. It is for you to use, whether you want information, to read a book, do research or to take part in or attend one of the many events that are organised in the library.

Fingal Libraries provide meeting rooms as per our meeting room policy to the community for a nominal fee. There are meeting rooms and exhibition space available at Blanchardstown, Baldoyle, Balbriggan, Malahide and Rush Libraries. For further information please contact the relevant branch library.

With effect from Monday 28th January 2013 the following changes will apply:Reserves: reserve fee will increase from 50c to 60c. BorrowBooks: reserving items from libraries outside Dublin €5.00 fee.Lost Library Card: to replace the first library card there will be a €1.00 fee. Subsequent lost cards will incur a €2.00 fee.
