Commercial Rates
Rates are a property based tax levied by Local Authorities on the occupiers of commercial or industrial properties. Income from commercial rates pays for a wide range of services including street lighting, maintenance of roads and footpaths, libraries, parks and playgrounds, sports and recreation facilities, economic development, community development and environmental protection.

Household Charge
The €100 Household Charge was payable in 2012 by owners of residential properties. It has been replaced for 2013 by the Local Property Tax (LPT). If you have enquiries regarding your Local Property Tax (LPT) for 2013, please visit www.revenue.ie or contact the following numbers

Local Property Tax
Local Property Tax (LPT) is a tax payable on the market value of residential property. The charge which is administered and collected by the Revenue Commissioners, came into effect on the 1 July 2013. A half-year payment was due in 2013, with a full-year payment due from 2014 onwards.
Non Principal Private Residence Charge
If you own a home, in which you don't live, you are liable for the NPPR charge. The annual NPPR charge of €200 per property applies for all years 2009-2013.

Rents
Our Rent Account Management Section is responsible for the assessment and collection of the Weekly Charge (Rent) on all our housing stock, including Rental Accommodation Scheme and Long Term Lease homes.
Commercial Water Charges
From 21st January 2014, Irish Water is responsible for the provision of water services in Ireland
