The functions of the Housing Department include maintenance and estate management, the construction and allocation of housing units, operating the Tenant Purchase Scheme and the Affordable Housing Scheme. Other functions include carrying out rent assessment and collection, operating loan accounts and arrears, providing grants to disabled persons and providing accommdation for Travelling People.
